M&S staff treated in hospital for CO poisoning
"EPA Eleven people are are being treated in hospital for suspected carbon monoxide poisoning in south-east London. A further 19 were treated by emergency crews and discharged from the scene outside Marks & Spencer in Charlton. It is believed the treated people were members of staff and no customers were affected. The London Ambulance Service was called to the incident on Gallions Road at about 09:30 GMT."
"Paramedics, incident response officers and hazardous area response team paramedics were sent, as well as two engines from the London Fire Brigade (LFB). The LFB said "crews were working alongside multi-agency partners to resolve the incident safely". Six of the staff members are undergoing further tests in hospital, with no injuries thought to be life-threatening, according to Greenwich councillor David Gardner. Marks & Spencer has been approached for comment."
