"Moments later, as the family-of-three joined Water Street, they heard a loud noise. Then someone shouted car. Mr Eveson, 37, instantly spun his partner around, away from the impending danger. But it was too late. Paul Doyle's 1.9-tonne Ford Galaxy crashed into her side, flinging the pram and her beloved baby boy 15ft down the road. Ms Aldridge, 37, a safeguarding officer, was thrown onto the bonnet of Doyle's car."
"She fell back onto the road and was run over, leaving her with injuries that medics described as being more akin to those sustained in a motorway crash. During Liverpool's Premier League-winning victory parade a 1.9-tonne Ford Galaxy driven by Paul Doyle crashed into crowds on Water Street. Sheree Aldridge, 37, was thrown onto the bonnet, fell back and was run over, sustaining injuries described as akin to a motorway crash. Her partner, Daniel Eveson, 37, spun her away but the pram carrying their five-month-old son, Teddy, was flung 15ft. Dan recovered Teddy from the pram and took him to an ambulance; the baby survived uninjured. The couple live in Cannock, Staffordshire, and continue to cope with physical and emotional consequences while marking Teddy’s first birthday.
