A 50-year-old woman was discovered with stab wounds and died at the scene on Pound Lane, Willesden, at around 4pm on Saturday. A 30-year-old man believed to have known the victim has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody. Members of the public provided first aid and called emergency services. Police say the incident occurred in a busy area and, based on inquiries so far, there is nothing to suggest a wider risk to the public.
