Sir Keir attended a meeting after Prime Minister's Questions, where Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch accused him of running a "boys' club" in Downing Street. He has faced calls to resign over appointing Lord Mandelson as ambassador to the US and over the peerage for former communications chief Lord Doyle. Sir Keir apologized for the Mandelson appointment and committed to working with the Women's PLP on cultural change. A source said he was in "listening mode" and a "feminist ally".
