Officers responded around noon to Madison Park High School on Malcolm X Boulevard in Roxbury after a 17-year-old student sustained a minor, non-life-threatening stab wound in a common hallway. The student was transported to a hospital. BPS Safety Services, school officers, and EMS were on site and both Madison Park and the neighboring John D. O'Bryant School were briefly placed in safe mode. The district crisis response team will be at the school for the rest of the week to support the school community. The suspect fled the scene, no one is in custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
