Michael Masucci, Chelsea's deputy fire chief, has been placed on paid administrative leave following his arrest in Nashville. Masucci faces felony charges of attempting offensive contact/assault of a law enforcement officer and offensive contact/assault of a law enforcement officer. He also faces two misdemeanor charges for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. The arrest took place near Layla's Honky Tonk, where he allegedly interfered with police responding to a medical call. Both Masucci and a relative were arrested and are scheduled to appear in court on September 5.
Masucci was charged with two felony charges: attempted offensive contact/assault of a law enforcement officer and offensive contact/assault of a law enforcement officer.
Masucci allegedly pushed a police officer off the patient and assumed a fight stance. He then attempted to elbow another officer as they tried to arrest him.
