Coastal areas on Cape Cod saw the highest amounts, with some locations reporting up to six inches. Many other regions experienced their first accumulating snowfall of the season, typically around one inch in extent. Official county-by-county totals were compiled by the National Weather Service. The overall pattern showed heavier accumulations along portions of the Cape and lighter snow in urban and inland areas of the Bay State.
