A new ADA Paratransit Transfer Facility opened at the Northwest Transportation Center in Schaumburg, representing a multi-million-dollar investment funded predominantly through Rebuild Illinois. The facility centralizes connections and creates a safe, comfortable, and efficient transfer point for riders with disabilities. Expanded passenger amenities include a modern indoor waiting area, real-time travel signage, a Ventra vending machine, and increased park-n-ride capacity with new EV charging stations. The project aims to enhance mobility for vulnerable populations and improve overall passenger experience. Pace Suburban Bus provides service across 274 municipalities in six northeastern Illinois counties.
