Senator Emerges from Classified Briefing and Promptly Accuses Trump of Deliberately Misleading the Public': We Have Not Obliterated the Programs'
Briefly

Sen. Chris Murphy criticized President Trump for allegedly misleading the public about the impact of U.S. airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities. Following a briefing from top Cabinet officials, which described significant damage inflicted on Iran's nuclear capabilities, Murphy expressed skepticism about Trump's claims of total destruction. He pointed to preliminary intelligence suggesting that the strikes only delayed Iran's nuclear ambitions by a few months, maintaining that the president's statements did not accurately reflect the reality of the situation and indicated a deliberate attempt to mislead the public.
To me, it still appears that we have only set back the Iranian nuclear program by a handful of months. There's no doubt there was damage done to the program, but the allegations that we have obliterated their program just don't seem to stand up to reason.
I just do not think the president was telling the truth when he said this program was obliterated. There was certainly damage done to the program, but there's still significant remaining capability.
