One-third of business leaders said they are not making a statement about Minneapolis after ICE agents fatally shot Alex Pretti because the issue is "not relevant to their business." Leaked internal messages show some CEOs, including Sam Altman and Tim Cook, have commented about ICE. A CNBC flash survey sent to 550 C-suite executives received 34 responses; only one respondent said their company had spoken publicly. More than 60 Minnesota-based CEOs urged "an immediate de-escalation of tensions" without demanding ICE leave. Respondents cited worries about backlash from the Trump administration, ongoing contemplation, and uncertainty about reasons for not commenting.
