US media allowed itself to be pulled into daily outrage and thereby was steered away from Trump’s failure to produce the Epstein files. Australia’s 60 Minutes aired coverage of the Epstein files on August 17. Trump’s proxies at DOJ are accused of hiding files and granting Ghislaine Maxwell improper detention privileges. Victims remain no closer to explanations about the Epstein human trafficking network.
