"Good's family requested the law firm representing them, Chicago-based Romanucci & Blandin, commission the autopsy. The independent autopsy found there were three clear gunshots on Good's body, one to her left forearm, another through her right breast and one that entered the left side of her head near the temple. That bullet exited on the other side. The findings of the autospy were consistent with what first responders reported on the scene."
"Meanwhile, federal prosecutors served grand jury subpoenas Tuesday to Minnesota officials as part of an investigation into whether they obstructed or impeded law enforcement during a sweeping immigration operation in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, a person familiar with the matter said. The subpoenas, which seek records, were sent to the offices of Gov. Tim Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, St. Paul Mayor Kaohly Her and officials in Ramsey and Hennepin counties, the person said."
"The person was not authorized to publicly discuss an ongoing investigation and spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity. The subpoenas are related to an investigation into whether Minnesota officials obstructed federal immigration enforcement through public statements they made, two people familiar with the matter said Friday. They said then that it was focused on the potential violation of a conspiracy statute."
It has been two weeks since Renee Good was shot and killed by a federal immigration agent in Minneapolis. Good's family commissioned an independent autopsy through Chicago-based Romanucci & Blandin. The autopsy found three clear gunshot wounds: one to the left forearm, another through the right breast, and one entering the left side of the head near the temple and exiting the other side. Those findings matched first responders' reports. The federal government contends Good posed a threat to the agent; Good's family and witnesses deny that. Federal prosecutors served grand jury subpoenas seeking records from Minnesota officials related to possible obstruction during a sweeping immigration operation.
