Absentee ballots were submitted under the names of at least two deceased voters in a contested GOP primary in Brooklyn. Juliet Windvan and Antoinette Garzaniti, who died over a decade ago, appeared to have their ballots cast despite their deaths. A third voter, William Allen, who did not vote, received a notice regarding his ballot. Election lawyer Martin Connor called for a district attorney investigation into how absentee ballots were obtained. The primary, where Sarantopoulous leads by 32 votes, has prompted concern over ballot integrity.
