Rep. Nancy Mace used a Known Crewmember access lane at Charleston International Airport and confronted officers who were a few minutes late to escort her. Charleston County Aviation Authority Police located her within ten minutes after being informed of her location. Mace loudly cursed at officers and Transportation Security Administration personnel, called them “f***ing incompetent,” and said it was no way to treat a “f***ing US Representative.” She referenced Sen. Tim Scott, saying he would not be treated the same. TSA officials reported the encounter to superiors, and Mace posted on X defending the entrance use.
