Nvidia Corp. and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. agreed to pay 15% of revenues from chip sales to China to the US government to obtain export licenses. Nvidia will share revenue from its H20 chip, while AMD will do the same with MI308 chip sales. This agreement follows a halt on advanced chip sales to China due to rising trade tensions. Nvidia hopes this will enable US companies to compete in the Chinese market after months of not shipping H20 chips. Intel's CEO is also engaging with the White House following scrutiny over ties to Chinese businesses.
