WTF!?' Conservatives Riot Over ABC Reporting Trump's Name Was Written on Shooter's Gun It Read Kill Donald Trump'
Briefly

A video manifesto attributed to 23-year-old Robin Westman included crude diagrams of a church, photos of weapons, names of past mass shooters, criticism of Israel, racial slurs, and nihilistic statements. The manifesto also featured the name of President Trump written on guns and a message reading "Kill Donald Trump" on a gun magazine. Coverage that cited the president's name on weapons without explicitly citing the kill message provoked sharp conservative criticism. Commentators on the right called the omission irresponsible, accused mainstream outlets of obfuscation, and warned it drives audiences toward alternative media.
23-year-old Robin Westman was able to leave what police called a video manifesto that they're now going through to try and establish motive. We've also been going through it, and can tell you there are crude diagrams of the church. There are also photos of the weapons, and they include all sorts of writings: the names of past mass shooters, criticism of Israel, the name of President Trump written on the guns. There are also racial slurs, nihilistic statements, all painting the picture of a disturbed individual who carried out this mass shooting on the first week of school at the Annunciation church in Minneapolis.
Katersky's failure to mention the alleged shooter's apparent disdain for Trump, while lumping his name in with those of other mass shooters, led to outcry from the right. So irresponsible. An obvious lie, mused Fox News' Mary Katherine Ham. We call this obfuscation anti-journalism,' added her colleague Guy Benson.
