Which Colors Do Dogs Prefer?
Briefly

Recent research from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research reveals that dogs do not see the world in vibrant colors like humans but rather perceive a limited range mostly comprising shades of blue, yellow, and gray. This study challenges the common assumption that dogs are attracted to red toys. The findings suggest that if dog-toy manufacturers wish to appeal to canine customers, selecting yellow or yellowish hues would be more effective based on dogs' actual vision.
Contrary to popular belief, dogs are not completely colorblind but do see a selected range of colors—mainly shades of blue and yellow, similar to some colorblind humans.
The study reveals that dogs tend to prefer yellow or yellowish hues, contradicting the assumption that they are drawn to colors like red.
