Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Shadows has launched its post-launch roadmap to entice players back to its feudal Japan setting. Key highlights include the first expansion titled Claws of Awaji, introducing a new region, abilities, enemies, and a bo staff for the protagonist Naoe. Additionally, free updates are slated for May and June, starting with story drops to enhance character depth, alongside gameplay refinements like improved parkour mechanics and new movement abilities. These updates aim to keep the community engaged and expand gameplay options.
Ubisoft revealed its post-launch roadmap for Shadows this week, and it includes a lot of content set to drop in the months ahead.
According to Simon Lemay-Comtois, the game's Associate Director, the expansion will pick up after the main game's epilogue and will include new abilities, new enemies, and a brand new weapon exclusive to Naoe, a bo staff.
