In November, EA plans to add a new map and a new mode, and in December, EA will give the Empire State map an icy makeover. EA has also added an in-game radio station to Battlefield 6 and Redsec featuring music from artists like Limp Bizkit, Bob Dylan, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre."
Battlefield Redsec is available now as a free-to-play battle royale built on Battlefield’s signature gameplay. Players drop into Fort Lyndon, the largest Battlefield map, to compete in 100-player matches, scavenge for powerful loot, and eliminate enemy squads. Tactical Destruction enables environmental strategy, letting teams create new paths or weaponize terrain. Redsec includes Gauntlet, a fast-paced elimination mode where eight teams of four compete in round-based missions with five-minute windows to complete objectives. Battlefield 6 Season 1 begins with a new map, a 4v4 mode, and a new vehicle, with further map and mode updates planned for November and December.
