While Hank slipped out in the ensuing chaos and headed to New Vegas, Lucy decided to join Cooper in his quest for answers, which led them into unknown and dangerous territory."
Lucy MacLean discovers her father Hank caused Shady Sands' destruction while the Brotherhood of Steel battles the New California Republic for Griffith Observatory control. Hank escapes into New Vegas as Cooper Howard learns Hank may know his family's whereabouts; Lucy joins Cooper, leading them into dangerous territory. A Pre-War flashback shows public protests against RobCo and a stranger using a head-attachment device to control and then violently dispatch an unemployed man. In the present, Cooper is captured by the Great Khans in Novac, but Lucy intervenes from a sniper perch, foiling a plot to rob the Khans' bottlecaps and forcing Cooper into a bloody rescue.
