Pokemon Go Remote Trades Guide: How To Become Forever Friends For Trading
"Just as Remote Raids allow you to participate in a Raid Battle from anywhere in the world, Remote Trades allow you to exchange Pokemon with another player, regardless of where you both are. However, the feature comes with a few caveats, most notable among them being that it's locked behind a new friendship level called Forever Friends. Here's everything you need to know about Remote Trades, including how it works, what Pokemon are ineligible, and how to become Forever Friends with another player."
"As the name indicates, Remote Trades allow you to exchange Pokemon with a friend anywhere around the world. This is a significant addition to the game, as up until now, you could only trade Pokemon with another player in person. Not only is this a much more convenient way to exchange monsters, but it also makes it easier to get Pokemon that are typically only available in specific regions, such as Farfetch'd and Mr. Mime."
Remote Trades enable players to exchange Pokemon with friends anywhere in the world, removing the previous requirement to trade in person. Players must tag Pokemon they are willing to trade remotely and certain Pokemon remain ineligible. Remote Trades require the new Forever Friends friendship level, which sits above Best Friends, so players must increase friendship through shared activities to unlock remote trading. Remote Trades facilitate access to region-exclusive Pokemon like Farfetch'd and Mr. Mime. Friendship points are earned through interactions and activities with another player, with up to one friendship point obtainable per day.
