The Pokémon Company announced Gen 10 titles Pokémon Wind and Pokémon Waves during a 30th anniversary stream, confirming leaker predictions. These games release on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027 and feature exploration across windswept islands and vast oceans. Three new starter Pokémon were revealed: Browt (grass), Pombon (fire), and Gecqua (water). The games support 11 languages including Brazilian Portuguese. Additionally, Pokémon Champions, a battle-focused spin-off, debuts on Nintendo Switch in April with mobile versions following later in 2027, featuring cross-play across all platforms. Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness arrives on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack in March.
