"EA's long-awaited Skate revival is launching this week in early access, but when exactly can you start playing? Developer Full Circle has now published the global launch times so you can hop in precisely when the servers go live on September 16 (or September 17 depending on where you live). The original Skate came out in 2007, with sequels Skate 2 and Skate 3 arriving in 2009 and 2010, respectively. A mobile game, Skate It, launched in 2008."
"Because it's launching in early access, it's not the full experience or necessarily totally balanced. Full Circle said it will embrace fan feedback to shape the game going forward, and add things like new game modes, tricks, leaderboards, party voice chat, and other improvements over time. The game takes place in the fictional world of Sna Vansterdamn, which itself is made up of four unique neighborhoods. Full Circle said the world is "ever-evolving" and that players can expert new areas, challenges, and music."
Skate returns with an early access launch starting September 16 (September 17 in some regions). The game is free-to-play and always-online, supported by microtransactions, and is not the full, balanced experience at launch. Developer Full Circle will collect fan feedback and add features such as new game modes, tricks, leaderboards, party voice chat, and other improvements over time. Cross-play and cross-progression are available from launch across PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The game world, Sna Vansterdamn, contains four unique neighborhoods and will evolve with new areas, challenges, and music added during early access.
