"Meanwhile, after the in-person event, Niantic will generate more excitement for the free global version of Pokemon Go Tour: Kalos on Feb. 28 with the Road to Kalos event, running from Feb. 23 to Feb. 27. It will feature the main legendaries from the previous events along with costumed Pikachus associated with them. Some of those electric mouse variants will be new. They include the ones wearing Red's hat and Leaf's hat from Kanto and Ethan's hat and Lyra's hat from Johto."
"Meanwhile, the legendaries for each region will have the special moves associated with them. It's a good way to grab Sky Attack Moltres, Thundershock Zapdos and Hurricane Articuno. The Kyogres will know Origin Pulse and Groudons will know Precipice Blades. Meanwhile, Reshiram will know Fusion Flare and Zekrom will know Fusion Bolt. The more important one is Kyurem, which will know Glaciate. That move is needed to unlock Ice Burn and Freeze Shock for their fused forms."
Two new Mega Evolutions, Mega Victreebel and Mega Malamar, will arrive earlier for attendees of in-person Kalos Tour events Feb. 20–22 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena and Tainan, Taiwan. The free global Pokemon Go Tour: Kalos on Feb. 28 is preceded by Road to Kalos from Feb. 23–27. Road to Kalos will feature regional legendaries and costumed Pikachu variants, including new hats for Red, Leaf, Ethan and Lyra. Legendaries will carry signature and powerful moves—examples include Sky Attack for Moltres and Origin Pulse for Kyogre—while Kyurem will know Glaciate, required to unlock Ice Burn and Freeze Shock for fused forms. Origin Forme Dialga and Palkia may know Roar of Time and Spatial Rend. Daily raids and a 6–7 p.m. raid hour will showcase these encounters.
