Apple Watch Series 11 announced
"The new Series 11 follows the 10th version of the Apple Watch that the company released last year. It didn't break any new ground when it came to the wearable's design, but Apple managed to make its smartwatch 10 percent thinner and 10 percent lighter than the Series 9, despite the Series 10 having a slightly bigger case and the largest and brightest OLED screen in an Apple Watch to date."
"The Apple Watch Series 11 will launch alongside watchOS 26, the latest version of Apple's smartwatch operating system that includes new features like a wrist flick gesture that can be used to dismiss calls, notifications, and alarms, as well as take you back to your watch face. It will feature an improved Smart Stack, a Workout Buddy feature that leverages Apple Intelligence to provide personalized insights and even pep talks, and Apple's new Liquid Glass design language that's also coming to other Apple devices."
The Apple Watch Series 11 retains a similar outward design while becoming 10 percent thinner and 10 percent lighter than the Series 9. Series 10 had a slightly bigger case and the largest, brightest OLED screen in an Apple Watch to date, plus sleep apnea detection using the accelerometer and speaker support for music and podcasts. Series 11 will launch alongside watchOS 26, which adds a wrist flick gesture to dismiss calls, notifications, and alarms and return to the watch face. It includes an improved Smart Stack and a Workout Buddy powered by Apple Intelligence for personalized insights and pep talks, and adopts Apple's new Liquid Glass design language across devices.
