"These could be leading lights in longevity, top Mayr centres, or places to go if you're plain burned out. The choice of each spa is considered carefully, and each writer has reported back with integrity through the lens of a very personal experience. In this age of AI, this is information our audiences know they can trust and act on."
"Afterwards, guests including Adeela Crown, Nieve Tierney, Uliana Gout, Anjali Mahto and Frances Geoghean mingled and talked longevity, cold plunges, high-tech treatments and game-changing facials. Canapes such as beetroot tacos, burrata tarts, tuna crudo, and sweet corn tempura circulated. Glasses of Silverhand English Sparkling Wine were clinked, Sapling Vodka was swirled into tangy cocktails, while French Bloom provided non-alcoholic sparkling wine. Delicious passionfruit pavlovas and melon ice cream popsicles played the role of palette cleansers as the evening drew to a close."
More than 150 industry experts convened at Mandarin Oriental Mayfair in London for Condé Nast Traveller's Wellness & Spa Awards 2026, in partnership with Healing Holidays. The awards recognised wellness destinations setting exceptional standards and highlighted a curated annual edit of about 35 of the world's most substantive spas. These could be leading lights in longevity, top Mayr centres, or places to go if you're plain burned out. Five of the 35 spas received honours in person. Guests discussed longevity, cold plunges, high-tech treatments and facials while sampling canapés, sparkling wines and cocktails. Winners included Rakxa Integrative Wellness for Asian Transformation.
