Nicolas Audebert has managed Château Rauzan-Ségla and Château Canon since 2014 and announces their return to prominence. Château Rauzan-Ségla dates to 1659 in Margaux on the Gironde's left bank; Canon formed in 1760 in Saint-Émilion on the right bank. Chanel acquired Rauzan-Ségla in 1994 and Canon in 1996. At least three decades of work—understanding, restructuring, and precise planning—were required to restore these estates. Chanel provided time and resources to proceed deliberately. Restoration preserved individual traditions while raising execution to Chanel's exacting standards and invoked Coco Chanel's dictum about enduring style.
