Nigeria overcame a 2-0 halftime deficit to defeat Morocco 3-2 and secure their 10th Women's Africa Cup of Nations title. Morocco led at halftime with goals from Ghizlane Chebbak and Sanaa Mssoudy. The Super Falcons, led by Esther Okoronkwo's performance, struck back with a penalty in the 64th minute.
