Tuva Hansen, a 28-year-old Norway international defender, has signed for West Ham from Bayern Munich. She won three consecutive Frauen-Bundesliga titles and played in the Champions League. Hansen has 60 international caps and has represented Norway at the World Cup and the European Championship. She moved to Bayern in January 2023 after winning two Toppserien titles with SK Brann. West Ham coach Rita Guarino expects Hansen to bring leadership qualities, versatility and game management in and out of possession and called her a key player and an asset to the group. Contract length and any transfer fee were not disclosed.
