Leonie Letitia and Katie Catt transformed their lives by completing a baking program with Luminary Women, a charity that empowers women facing multiple disadvantages. They learned to bake to industry standards and gained skills for long-term employment. Katie, now an apprentice at Luminary Bakery, faced significant challenges after reporting domestic abuse, which led to job loss and instability. The supportive environment at Luminary provided her with a safety net and a sense of calm, contrasting her previous experiences in the corporate world. The charity helps around 100 women annually to rebuild their lives.
