Many experienced amplified health disparities and unemployment, while navigating the transition to virtual social interactions. This period also led to a reconnection with family foundations and an opportunity for personal reflection and growth. As essential workers, they confronted higher risks, underscoring the societal inequities that persist and their resilience amidst these challenges.
