A bystander tackled and wrestled a gun from one of two alleged gunmen during a mass shooting at Bondi Beach. Video shows the alleged shooter firing a shotgun before the bystander leapt from behind a parked car, wrestled the weapon away and placed it against a tree with hands raised. At least 12 people were killed, including one of the shooters, and at least 29 were hospitalized. Authorities declared the incident a terrorist attack targeting Jewish Australians at a Hanukah celebration. The prime minister called the attack evil and praised police, first responders and everyday Australians for acts of courage.
