"50 high-quality sons,"
"having more children can solve all problems."
"deliberately confused the facts and fabricated false information,"
Xu Bo is founder and chairman of Guangzhou Duoyi Network, a major Chinese mobile gaming company with an estimated $1.1 billion fortune. He has used U.S.-based surrogacy to father numerous children and sought parental rights to at least four unborn children in the United States. He has fathered and is fathering at least eight other surrogacy children, with claims of many more and allegations of over 100 U.S.-born children. Accounts linked to Xu on Weibo said he sought '50 high-quality sons' and that 'having more children can solve all problems.' In a 2023 court hearing he said he hoped to have around 20 U.S.-born children to one day take over his business. An ex-girlfriend alleged 300 children worldwide; the company denied larger counts and said only 12 of the alleged 100-plus were born in the U.S.
