Gabriel Montanes Arquitecto rehabilitated Casa T, a 286.61m2 house situated within Menorca's spectacular natural landscape. The work converted a traditional farmhouse that had lain derelict for twenty years into a contemporary residence. The design preserves traces of the property's agricultural past while introducing updated spatial arrangements and modern amenities. Material choices and form respond to local context, balancing vernacular character with contemporary living requirements. The intervention reactivates the building's original agricultural identity through sensitive conservation and adaptive reuse. Landscape relationships and orientation were prioritized to integrate interior and exterior spaces, creating a dialogue with island heritage.
