A heritage home on the banks of the river in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, Montreal received a comprehensive transformation. The ground floor had been divided between a residence and a medical office occupying nearly half of the floor. Renovation removed that division, reintegrating the medical office into living space and opening up rooms. Spatial openings and reconfigured circulation enhance visual connections to the river. New interventions bring daylight into the heart of the house. The work balances preservation of heritage character with improved flow, light, and riverfront engagement to create a cohesive, open, and luminous residential environment.
