On April 28, 2025, Israeli soldiers demolished five homes in Idhna, Hebron, claiming they lacked permits. Raed Srour, a father, described the unsettling morning when bulldozers approached his home, leading to the end of his family's seven-year residence. Nationwide, demolitions were widespread, including properties in Beit Ummar and Anata. Such demolition campaigns have resulted in the displacement of 7,392 Palestinians since 2023 and limit Palestinian urban expansion while facilitating Israeli settlement growth in the West Bank.
