Kripanilay Farmhouse / HabitArt Architecture Studio
"The architecture of Krpanilaya emerges from a deep understanding of the local climate, where temperatures can soar to 45C, necessitating a design that harmonizes with its environment."
"Set amidst rolling hills, the farmhouse integrates with the terrain, allowing vegetation to settle naturally across the contours, enhancing the connection between the structure and its surroundings."
Krpanilaya is situated in the farm community of Sanctity Ferme in Shoolagiri, characterized by rolling hills and a hot, dry climate. The architecture is designed to integrate with the landscape rather than impose upon it. The design prioritizes an understanding of environmental factors such as heat, light, and air, which are essential in creating a comfortable living space in extreme temperatures that can reach up to 45C during peak summers.
