Located amidst the stunning Taihang Grand Canyon, this project involved the demolition and reconstruction of an old house to create a homestay. Despite the disorganized surroundings of the village, the architects focused on crafting an inner courtyard that offers tranquility and privacy for guests. The layout separates public and private spaces, ensuring interaction and scenic views of the magnificent mountains that characterize the region. Through innovative design, the homestay connects with the landscape while providing a serene retreat for visitors.
The project transforms an old village house into a distinctive homestay, integrating its design with the Taihang Grand Canyon's breathtaking landscape while prioritizing guest experience.
Despite surrounding disorganization, the design centers around an inner courtyard, focusing on guest interaction while offering views of the majestic Taihang mountains.
Emphasizing inward and outward perspectives, the project creates a harmonious balance between the enclosed courtyard for guest privacy and the expansive mountain vistas.
