Buenos Aires-based AdamoFaiden and Rome-based Supervoid collaborated to refurbish and extend a five-story early 20th-century building in Rome's San Saba neighborhood. The intervention reinterprets the building's historic fabric while adapting spatial layouts and services to contemporary residential needs. Work addressed multiple floors to reconcile preserved heritage elements with new insertions and living requirements. A multidisciplinary team coordinated lead architecture, construction management, structural engineering and product selection to complete the house extension in 2023. The project balances preservation of character with updated functionality and modern domestic standards.
