I was holding on up until the damage, I was kind of holding on to Oscar Piastri... I heard I hit a groundhog, so that's devastating. I love animals so I'm so sad about it. That's horrible.

Norris attempted to pass Piastri across the start-finish line but misjudged the move and hit his teammate's car, admitting on the radio: "It's all my bad, it’s all my fault. Stupid from me."
