I don't want to. You can't end it better than I did last year. I had a great time last year. It was an absolute blast and honor to be on that team. I think that was the perfect way to end it. Honestly, I don't know if I would have enough in the tank to pitch for a full season again. I'm really at peace with that decision.
The Los Angeles Dodgers are back-to-back champions of the baseball world. Los Angeles took down the Toronto Blue Jays, 5-4, in an 11-inning Game 7 thriller on Saturday night. The Dodgers hadn't held a lead in the finale of the Fall Classic until the 11th inning (via a clutch Will Smith solo home run), and were trailing going into the ninth inning (until Miguel Rojas belted a home run that was just as clutch).
The Dodgers will celebrate back-to-back World Series titles Monday with a downtown parade at 11 a.m., followed by a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium at 12:15 p.m. Tickets for the rally go on sale Sunday at noon PT via dodgers.com/postseason, with stadium gates opening at 9 a.m. and parking gates at 8:30 a.m. Clayton Kershaw will make his final appearance as a Dodger player during the rally before retiring after nearly two decades with the franchise.
