Youssouf Fofana and Pervis Estupinan haven't been particularly impressive this season, with the Ecuadorian in particular struggling ever since losing his starting spot to Davide Bartesaghi. Against Inter it was the perhaps surprise duo that sealed the three points for the Rossoneri and kept the title race somewhat alive. Fofana provided the assist for Estupinan who made no mistake in front of goal, firing a rocket into the top corner that was the finish of a top striker.
The only goal of the game came in the first half and Pervis Estupinan was the one who got it. The Ecuadorian ran onto a through ball from Youssouf Fofana and sent a shot into the top corner to make the stadium explode.
The U16 side, which is led by the former Lazio and Parma midfielder Marco Parolo, kicked off the timeline of derby clashes earlier today. Thankfully, they managed to clinch all three points after a goal from Pietro Piazza in the 33rd minute.
Matteo Gabbia is held in high regard by AC Milan fans for a few reasons. The biggest, though, has to be his last-minute winner against Inter. There is something beautiful about the story of Gabbia. From a background option to a derby winner, to a needed body in an injury crisis, to a potential captain. For those that love stories in football, his is as good as they get.
