Bernal Heights Outdoor Cinema returns this September for Season #22, offering free public screenings of local independent films in parks, cafés, studios, galleries, and other cherished public spaces.

Celebrate 200 years of Britain's railways with a unique programme of Britain's greatest railway films, presented by BFI Archive Curator Steven Foxon and historian Tim Dunn.

The curated film series inspired by Ghost of Yotei includes five significant samurai films: The Tale of Zatoichi, the 13 Assassins remake, Lady Snowblood, Ran, and Lone Wolf and Cub: Sword of Vengeance. These screenings emphasize the developers' admiration for samurai cinema as a primary influence on the game.

Each screening will feature pre-movie activities such as DJs, interactive games, photo booths, and giveaways, along with special surprise guest appearances throughout the summer.

This year, the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk’s free movie screenings focus on nostalgic favorites from the '80s and '90s, highlighting local charm and affordability.

This May 2-4 weekend, Margate will celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day with film screenings, street parties, food, and vintage displays, aiming to support local veterans.

Attendees will have the opportunity to try Chinese cuisine at a buffet, check out historic paintings and architecture, meet Chinese diplomats, and see a vibrant Peking opera.
