The Barbican Centre a Brutalist landmark that has housed world-class performances, exhibitions, and cinema since 1982 is heading into a major transformation. Under the government's Climate Action Plan 2019, councils were mandated to select an area of their county where methods to reduce carbon emissions are trialled, known as a Decarbonising Zone. On Wednesday, Enterprise AI model-maker Cohere said it raised an additional $100 million - bumping its valuation to $7 billion - in an extension to a round announced in August. The August round was an oversubscribed $500 million round at a $6.8 billion valuation, the company said at the time.
