The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is rumored to launch later this month and it will be the first Find X-series Ultra phone to go global. This will apparently be the Find X9 Ultra top-tier version, equipped with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. It will also feature an exclusive design and a teleconverter kit, which has already leaked.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra brings serious camera hardware. It is equipped with a 50MP 1"-type Light Fusion 1050L sensor with LOFIC HDR and other improvements. The 200MP telephoto camera (1/1.4" sensor) has a variable focal length lens that goes smoothly between 75mm and 100mm. It's joined by a 50MP 115° ultra-wide on the back.

Speaking on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum 2026, India's IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw is now claiming that the country will soon have its own smartphone brand (or brands, plural), and promises the Indian government has done all the "homework" required for such an endeavor. This brand (or these brands, it's unclear if we're talking about one or more) will be launched within the next 12 to 18 months and will be "global".
