A knifeman who assaulted two men in an unprovoked attack on the Underground has been convicted following a police investigation. Two men, aged 44 and 42, had finished a midweek dance class and were waiting on separate Northern Line platforms when Green passed through the barriers. Moments later, Green launched a brutal "ferocious and unprovoked" 20-second assault on the older victim. When the younger gentlemen rushed to help, Green stabbed him 13 times before horrified passengers managed to intervene.
