Serge Gnabry got the scoring underway in the third minute, before Harry Kane set up Aleksandar Pavlović in the ninth and then converted a penalty, Luis Díaz then made it 4-0 with a deflected shot in the 29th. Hamburg goalkeeper Daniel Heuer Fernandes prevented a bigger scoreline.
