SAN FRANCISCO -- Portland Trail Blazers reserve center Yang Hansen walked off the court on his own after a scary collision and head injury midway through the fourth quarter against the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday night. Hansen scrambled for a loose ball under the Blazers' basket with 6:55 remaining and was trying to pass it out when Golden State's Will Richard made contact to the back of Hansen's head with his knee.
Strahinja Pavlovic had to have stitches in his head after a collision with Pietro Comuzzo during Sunday's draw against Fiorentina. It was one of those games where Comuzzo seemed determined to do damage with his head. He scored the opening goal for Fiorentina midway through the second half, nodding in a corner, and then at the other end an aerial duel with Pavlovic ended with them both in a heap on the floor.
A man was arrested Saturday after a fight during a Bruins game at TD Garden that led to another man being hospitalized with a head injury, police said. The man arrested, identified by police as Aaron Tucker, 49, is set to be arraigned at Boston Municipal Court Monday on charges of assault and battery resulting in serious bodily injury, and assault and battery against a 60+ or disabled victim, according to a Boston police report.

[He] just started hitting me with a piece of wood, and then this guy stole my bike, my phone, and I was on the ground. Another Deliveroo rider found me and called the gardaí. But only one guy hit me; the other guys were only [watching] and recording. I'm not the first person that was attacked there. I think it's a very dangerous place, especially at night. It's very dark there, so they came from the darkness.
Gardaí in Co Longford are investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a man with serious injuries in Drumlish, Co Longford on 8th November 2025," said a garda spokesperson.
The guidelines for dealing with possible concussion operate under the tagline of 'if in doubt sit them out'. It means that if a player has suspected concussion at any level of football "they must be immediately removed from the pitch, whether in training or match play". The FA states that the reason for immediate action in removing players from the pitch is because treatment delays "could risk incomplete recovery of the brain".
Liverpool may have some justification in questioning an early decision from the referee as Manchester United took a 1-0 lead in the first minute of today's game at Anfield. Birthdays are always a big deal in my family we love any excuse to spend time together. My dad's 60th, in May last year, was a particularly special one, as we had family travelling from Germany to Eastbourne, in East Sussex, to celebrate. I spent the first part of the morning with my sisters at my mum's nearby. She has a birthday in the same week, so we were celebrating hers first.
