HERSHEY, Pa. -- Frightening video shows a young boy walking along the monorail track in Hersheypark. Crowds could be seen gathered below the tracks trying to guide the boy to safety as he was in danger of falling off the rail. Eventually, a bystander could be seen climbing onto the rail to rescue the boy. According to the park, the monorail ride was closed at the time, and the boy was reunited with his family unharmed.

In a statement released on July 24, John Lawn, CEO of Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company, said the park's lifeguard team recognized that a child was in distress and performed an immediate rescue.
