At 5 am Tuesday morning, a two-alarm fire at Eighth and Natoma streets left ten residents displaced but did not result in any injuries. The fire was first reported at 5 am as a one-alarm fire in the rear of a building. Upon firefighters’ arrival, it escalated to a two-alarm fire which necessitated deploying additional crews to fight the flames. The fire was successfully contained by approximately 5:20 am. As of Tuesday afternoon, the exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
